Shop Cancellation & Returns Policy (UK)

1. Scope

This policy applies to physical products purchased from BBMaths shipped to UK addresses only. Digital tutoring services follow a separate tutoring cancellation policy.

2. Your Right to Cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations)

You may cancel most online physical goods orders within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods (or the last item of a split shipment). After notifying us, you have a further 14 days to return the goods.

3. How to Cancel

Email us with: Order number, your name, items to cancel/return, (optional) reason. We’ll reply with a Return Authorisation Reference (RAR). Do not send items before receiving this reference.

4. Condition of Returned Items
  • Unused & in original condition
  • Original packaging + inserts, manuals, labels, accessories
  • No odors, stains, marks, or damage

A refund may be reduced if handling exceeds what’s needed to inspect the goods.

5. Exclusions (Non‑Returnable Unless Faulty)
  • Perishable / time‑sensitive goods
  • Custom or personalised items
  • Sealed hygiene/health products once unsealed
  • Downloaded / accessed digital content
6. Returns Shipping

You pay return postage unless the item is faulty, misdescribed, or damaged in transit. Use a tracked/insured carrier; risk during transit is yours until received. For faults or transit damage contact us (ideally within 48 hours) — we’ll cover reasonable return costs or issue a prepaid label.

7. Faulty or Not as Described (Consumer Rights Act 2015)

Within 30 days: you may be entitled to a full refund.
After 30 days: we may first attempt repair or replacement. If that fails or is impossible, a refund (possibly adjusted for use after 6 months) may apply.

8. Processing Refunds

Once inspected and approved, refunds go to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. Upgraded delivery costs beyond the least expensive standard method are not refunded (except statutory 14‑day cancellations).

9. Partial / Adjusted Refunds

Deductions may occur for missing parts, excess wear, damage, or unapproved returns. We notify you before finalizing adjustments.

10. Exchanges

No direct exchanges. Return the original for a refund, then place a new order.

11. Orders Not Received

If tracking shows delivered but you can’t locate the parcel, check safe places/neighbours/reception and contact us within 2 days; a courier investigation may require a signed declaration.

12. Cancellations Before Dispatch

If you cancel before dispatch we issue a full refund. After dispatch, follow the returns process.

13. Bundles / Multi‑Item Discounts

Returning part of a discounted bundle may trigger recalculation of the kept items at standard pricing; your refund reflects the adjusted total.

14. Abuse & Fraud Prevention

We may decline future service for suspected abusive patterns (excessive returns, fabricated damage, etc.).

15. How to Package Returns

Request instructions if unsure. Use original packaging where possible; otherwise provide equivalent protection and remove old courier labels.

  • WooCommerce order metadata (no raw card details stored by us).
4. Use Purposes & Bases

Contract (deliver bookings/orders), legitimate interests (improve/security), legal obligation (records), consent (optional marketing/certain cookies).

5. Cookies & Tracking

Essential session, preference, optional analytics. Zoom may set additional cookies when joining a meeting.

6. Sharing

Hosting, payment processor, Zoom, transactional email provider, professional advisors, lawful authorities as required. No selling of personal data.

7. Security & Retention

Role‑based access, HTTPS, least‑privilege keys, routine updates. Bookings/orders retained per legal/accounting needs; other data minimized.
